We support the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) in raising awareness of safe driving habits and the laws that enforce them. And while we work to reach as many people as possible, we also know that not all drivers are prone to the same mistakes. So we go both big and granular in delivering CDOT’s messages on driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, distracted driving, and seatbelt usage to those segments of Colorado’s population who really need to listen. For example, we reach cannabis users via cinema takeovers; grab partiers’ attention with drink umbrellas and beer coasters; demonstrate breathalyzers at events where people are imbibing; serve reminders about phones’ Do Not Disturb functions to people before (but not while) they drive; and prompt seatbelt use with branded gas station pump tops.
