VJ’s Random Reveal: Monica Hemmert

Random Reveal

A fulfilling organizational culture can turn a collection of talented individuals into a well-aligned and efficient team. It’s why we appreciate and support our account services team at every turn—they’re a reflection of our values and the way we do business. Without further ado...Now a moment of Zen with one of our new account supervisors, Monica Hemmert.Monica has the team not only daydreaming of the day we can share a hug or, heck, even a high-five again, but she’s also transported us to the Italian Riviera in this month’s Random Reveal.

What trend do you hope makes a comeback?

Hugs and smiles. I miss being in human contact, seeing a smile (behind the mask) and sharing a hug.

What is your most overused word or phrase?

In the words of Tim Gunn, “Make it work.”

If someone were to write a movie about you, where would the opening scene take place?

We open on the Cinque Terre in Italy where there’s a little bit of water/beach with the mountains calling in the background and the smell of authentic, local fare inviting me in.

On a Sunday morning, you can find me…

sleeping in and enjoying a calm meditation. And then a solid breakfast (in or out) with the family.

If you were a pasta shape, what shape would you be and why?

Cavatappi. It’s fun to say, but its curl reminds me of my own curly hair, and they are very go-with-the-flow. They and their name just make me smile.

You find yourself onstage at a talent show, what are you performing?

Oh dear... I’m so not a performer. But I’d bust out a really great air guitar and drum routine to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You’ve Been Gone.” Vladimir Jones is Colorado’s original independent, integrated advertising agency, with offices in Denver and Colorado Springs. We believe in brilliant brands and love making the world love them as much as we do.
