We value and seek out well-rounded individuals who lead rich and full lives outside of the office to work at VJ and we provide a generous PTO policy for the team to utilize. We are also very flexible with providing the time you need to conduct your life in a meaningful way outside of the standard PTO request and within our weekly office hours, because we know that life events are often unplanned. We will always work with you in these instances. Based on agency-wide performance, there is also the potential for a bonus PTO week for the entire agency between Christmas and New Year’s that does not require employees to use any of their personal PTO days.

For the primary caregiver, we offer 8 weeks of 100% paid leave with an additional 4 weeks unpaid available after that period. During the additional 4-week period of parental leave, an employee can use accrued PTO in order to continue to receive full or partial pay. Furthermore, we offer a 3-month transition period, during which the primary caregiver can work from home two days a week for the first month upon returning to work and then once a week in the second and third months, before returning to a regular work schedule. 

 

For the secondary caregiver, we offer 4 weeks of 100% paid leave that can be used on an intermittent basis within the first 12 weeks of the birth or adoption. 

 

During this period of paid leave, employees will continue to accrue PTO, 401(k) matching, and health insurance benefits.
