Social Media for Live Events

American Indian College Fund 2023–2024

The Challenge

When it comes to transforming lives through education, the American Indian College Fund doesn’t just talk the talk—they host unforgettable events that inspire action. But getting the word out and driving meaningful engagement is no small feat.

That’s where Vladimir Jones (VJ) stepped in, partnering with the College Fund to turn their live events—like the Epicurean Award to Support Scholars (EATSS) series—into must-attend experiences that celebrated Native culture and education, and, most importantly, drove real results.

Solution

We partnered with the College Fund to concept, plan, and run a fully integrated social media campaign with all the fixings:

  • Laser-Focused Social Ads: We zeroed in on high-potential donor audiences with data-backed, scroll-stopping ads that hit the mark.
  • Stories That Stick: From showcasing inspiring student journeys to uplifting an entire tribe, our creative grabbed attention and tugged at heart strings.
  • Bold Visuals, Bigger Impact: Vibrant designs, chef spotlights, and a rallying cry—“Fill your plate. Fill your belly. Fuel our futures.”—tied the events to the College Fund’s mission.
  • Optimization in Real Time: Every campaign dollar worked harder thanks to constant performance monitoring and smart adjustments that delivered big results.

Results

The EATSS campaigns achieved remarkable results, solidifying the power of social media marketing for live events:

  • 2.2 million impressions generated through Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • 39,354 clicks at a 1.75% click-through rate.
  • Positive audience sentiment reflected in social engagement, boosting visibility.

Contributing to $32,000 in ticket sales revenue with 968 total tickets sold.
